I have a few friends who attended Presidency College, Chennai. According to them, the Mathematics department is great. It has a great faculty base. The professors are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The departmental building is located near Merina beach. It offers a wonderful environment for studies. Many alumni of the department have pursued higher studies and research, in past.
