SPJIMR is definitely one of the most reputed and prestigious Bschools when it comes to an MBA. Recently, it has secured 4th rank among private colleges by IIRF Rankings 2023.

To get admission to SPJIMR, you need to have at least two excellent and one average thing from the following:

  • Academics: You need to have scored 90+ in 10th and 12th standard, and 85+ in graduation to be considered excellent in academics.
  • Extra-curricular: You need to have excelled at the national/international level in sports/competitions or have any work contribution awards or be adept at any hobby or skill that can be verified in the form of a document. These are considered excellent.
  • Work experience: You should have a work experience of 18-30 months from a reputed firm to be well-accepted.

Apart from these, diversity and other factors are also considered. But, when it comes to profile-based calls, these three criteria are of utmost importance.

  • If you have 2 excellent and one average, then 85+ percentile is enough to get a call.
  • However, if you have only 1 excellent and 2 average or all 3 average, then you will need to score 97+ percentile for a PROFILE PLUS PERCENTILE call.
  • Now, assuming that you have scored less than 75% in 10th, 12th, and less than 70% in graduation, then it is highly unlikely that you will get a call even if you score 99+.
