Since last few years, XIMB started receiving NMAT courses for admission to some of their flagship courses, i.e. HRM, RM, XSOS, UMG. There is no specific cutoff and the yearly numbers vary. But usually, the cutoff for these courses is in the range of 170-190.

You should note that XIMB doesn’t consider NMAT scores for courses like Business Management or Global Management.

Xavier institute accepts the NMAT scores for certain programs, which are as follows.

  1. Xavier School of Human Resource Management (HRM), Bhubaneshwar
  2. Xavier School of Rural Management (RM), Bhubaneshwar
  3. Xavier School of Sustainability Management (SM), Bhubaneshwar
  4. Xavier School of Faculty Management (Urban Management and Governance), Bhubaneshwar

Cutoff:

The required NMAT cutoff percentile is 90% or more at XIMB.

  • For Human Resource Management, the NMAT cut-off hovers between 190 to 200.
  • For the Sustainability Management and Rural Management courses the cut-off ranges between 150 to 170.
  • Also, for the admission in MBA in Business Management or Global Management the institute does not accept NMAT scores.

These cut-offs are predicted based on past trends and are used only for the round one shortlisting. There are sectional cut-offs also in the selection process.
