Central Institute Plastics Engineering and Technology (CIPET)

At entry-level, CIPET passed engineers are offered salary packages in the range of INR 12,000-15,000 per month. It is a general estimate. The actual figure can vary depending on various factors like your degree, type of employee, sector, etc.

PG students usually get a higher salary. The starting salary for postgraduates is around INR 25,000-30,000.

The salary offered for B.Tech students during their training period is around Rs. 12,000 -17,000.

Salary Based on Degrees:

  • Students in the marketing department get some travel allowance too which can be summed up to Rs 20,000 in total.
  • Students who have completed their post-graduate are offered Rs 25,000 -30,000 per month during the training period. The training period lasts from 6 months to 1 year.

Though, the hike or increment is offered to the students after the successful completion of their training period.

Salary Based on Company:

The salary absolutely depends on the type of company.

  • Some companies offer Rs 12,000 with food and accommodation while other companies offer Rs 17,000 without food and accommodation.
  • Tier 2 Vendor Production Company offers around Rs 12,000 per month for fresher, design start-ups offers around Rs 15,000 per month while Tier 1 companies such as TVS or Ford offer a starting salary of Rs 25,000 per month.

The campus placement offers a higher salary than off-campus recruitments. The lowest salary is offered for walk-ins and referral recruits. The institute has no role to play depending on the salary of the students rather the skills of the student play a major role. Though, the recruited position and the company will determine the salary.
