Yes, any student who has a B.ed or an equivalent degree can apply for the CTET. You must submit your final year score sheets or graduation degree certificate while submitting your application for CTET entrance exams.

The criteria is that students must have secured a minimum score of 50% in class 10+2 and must have completed a short teachers training program prior to application.

Application correction final dates	17 - 26 November
Exam validity	7 years
Application Fee	1000 (for general category)

Students can appear for CTET twice in a year and must cater to the required individual eligibility criteria in order to appear for the exam. It is an offline examination conducted with a duration of 150 minutes.

Therefore, yes students from the Btech background with a relevant degree in engineering are also eligible to apply for the CTET exam.
