Delhi School of Economics (DSE) is one of the most reputed colleges in India for pursuing Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Ph.D. and MBA courses in India. DSE is affiliated to the University of Delhi. Delhi School of Economics offers B. A. (Honors) degree in three subjects, which are Economics, Geography, and Sociology. It also offers a B.A. Program course at 10+2 level. Admission in Delhi School of Economics is based on a merit basis. The students who have passed their class 12 can apply in DSE and the admission is done on the basis of cutoffs.

The minimum eligibility criteria for admissions are:

  1. A minimum of 45% marks is required in the class 12 board exams.
  2. The student must have studied and passed in mathematics in their class 12th exams if they wish to apply for B. A. Economics (Honors).
  3. Students from any stream (Commerce/Science/Arts) can apply for admission.
  4. There is no minimum age requirement for admission.
  5. Students who are appearing for their finals can also apply for admission.

In order to get admission, the students have to follow these steps:

  1. Go to the official website of Delhi University and register by clicking on “New User Registration”
  2. Fill in the asked details including email id and phone number.
  3. A verification link will be sent on the email id used for registration; those credentials must be used for login.
  4. Fill the required details including personal details, academic details, course, and mode of admission.
  5. Upload the necessary documents including identity proof, class 10th mark sheet, class 12th admit card to name a few.
  6. Review the application form for any errors (if any).
  7. Finally, pay the fees for registration and submit the form.

A registration fee of Rs.250/- is charged for registration form in undergraduate courses. However, filing the registration form and paying the registration fees doesn’t guarantee admission to the College.
