You should take IIIT Sri City. It follows an updated curriculum. You will get many opportunities to explore beyond classroom teaching. IIIT Sri City has coding clubs and robotics clubs. You can join any of these communities based on your interest

IIIT Sri City placements have been good over the recent years. According to recent placement highlights, the average and highest CTC offered were INR 12.02 LPA and INR 43 LPA, respectively. Some of the major recruiters that take part in the placement drive are Microsoft, IBM, L&T, Amazon, TCS, etc.

IIIT Sri City is not a good option. A friend of mine attended the institute and didn’t have a decent academic experience.

Given below are some of the pros and cons of this institute that will support the above-claimed statement.

Pros:

  • OJ (Online Judge) Culture is used in the programming courses of this institute for coding assignments. This inculcates programming as a habit in the students.
  • The students get an opportunity to get their research papers published if they are creditable and can add value.

Cons:

  • 85% attendance is compulsory for college.
  • The timing of the college is 9 AM - 5 PM. The only holiday is on Sunday.
  • The institute is situated in the small city of Tada. It means any good facility is 70 km away in Chennai.
  • The college is 3 km away.
  • Institute is not well-established as it is only one year old.
  • The quality of teaching has deteriorated. Even the OJ questions are now limited to 1 or 2. The C-programming faculty of the institute used to be good, which is not the case anymore.

Going by the above facts and the review I received from my friend, it is safe to say IIIT Sri City is not a good option.
