NIT Jalandhar is a reputable university. Not particularly extraordinary or so. It's just a quiet campus with standard instruction where CSE graduates have a good placement rate. It gradually lost its allure. It used to be one of the best NITs, but lately, it has declined.

However, it is still a very good college, with CSE, in particular, being a particularly lovely and developed branch.

One of my friends is pursuing BTech CSE from NIT Jalandhar. Here are some of the facts about the department.

Infrastructure:

The CSE department at NIT Jalandhar has got almost everything. The buildings are beautiful and well maintained.
The labs and lecture halls are air-conditioned and well equipped with smart boards and other facilities.
The labs have well updated Top Notch Systems for the students.
The college has a large library, well-equipped gymnasium, great eat-out places, magnificent seven-story hostel building, 24*7 wifi facility, and splendid mess food.

Academics:

The faculties and department heads make all the important changes in the curriculum to meet the needs of the Industry.
The faculties are extremely qualified and dedicated.

Placements:

The recent placement data is as follows.

Placement percentage of CSE	91.09%
Highest placement offered	INR 43.17 LPA
Average placement offered	INR 13.57 LPA
Top recruiters	Adobe, Microsoft, Reliance Industries Ltd, Cadence, Future First, Accenture, etc.

Fee Structure:

NIT Jalandhar charges around 8 lakhs for 4 years of BTech, including mess, hostel, wifi, and other charges. The facilities provided at the institute are at par with the fee.

Campus Life:

The campus life is amazing and very lively.
There are a lot of cultural and technical fests organized. The culture has the essence of Punjab.
The college has supportive staff members. Seniors are also very kind and social.

You are going to fall in love with the college. The college academics and campus life are great.
