You must go through the JCECE to enroll at BIT Sindri. Admission to the B.Tech courses provided by BIT Sindri is based on both merit and entry requirements. BIT Jharkhand Engineering Entrance Competitive Examination (JEECE), which is administered by the JCECE Board, a body created by the Jharkhand government, is the basis for Sindri BTech admission.
Engineering and technology diploma holders are given lateral access in the third semester through a competition arranged just for them. 10% of the total number of seats offered across all branches are available through lateral access.

After qualifying for the written aptitude test the selected candidates will be called for counseling. Candidates who are allotted a seat have to pay an allotment fee of 2,000 INR along with the admission fee at the time of reporting to the college.
To get admission in a BTech course at BIT Sindri, you need to take JCECE i.e. Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination. You can apply for the institute on the basis of your rank. Based on the course, the required cutoff differs. If you have scored above the required cutoff, you can apply to your preferred branch.
Currently, the procedure for B.Tech course in BIT Sindri is via JEE Main rank, earlier it was through JCECE.
You can register on the JCECEB website. It will require some details such as JEE score, Class 12 marks, and so on, and a merit list will be prepared based on all the students' registrations. JCECEB counseling will be done based on that merit list (not through JOSAA counseling).
After obtaining the required rank, all processes such as counseling, hostel allocation, and so on will be done on the college campus. Bring important documents at the time of Admission.

To be eligible for admission to BIT Sindri, you must have a Jharkhand Residential Certificate approved by an SDO Level officer. Otherwise, you will be denied admission even if your name appears on the top of the merit list.
