According to MNNIT Allahabad rules, you need to multiply your CPI with 10 to get the percentage. If your CPI is 9.4, your percentage will be - 9.4*10 = 94. Although the MNNIT doesn’t have a specified formula for CPI to percentage conversion, this is the standard practice used for this calculation.

CPI stands for Cumulative Performance Index. There is no official process of conversion of CPI to a percentage for the score of students in MNNIT Allahabad. There are some circulars published by the institute as to how students can convert their score in CPI initially, and the details provided in them are listed below.

  • There is no proper formula for conversion of CPI to percentage which is specific to MNNIT Allahabad.
  • The institute stated in a circular that students can convert their scores in CPI to a percentage by multiplying their CPI score by a factor of 10, which is followed nationally. This would help them obtain the gross numerical percentage for assessments in semesters.
  • After students have graduated from the institute, they are provided with a signed document by the Dean, which will contain their authority of conversion of their Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) to a percentage by this method.

This is the only method of conversion of CPI score to a percentage for students in MNNIT Allahabad.
