No, X-GMAT is not only for domicile students. Everyone willing to take the exam can opt for this exam. It is conducted in online mode for 2 hours consisting of 100-130 questions. The exam format is quite similar to that of the CAT exam. There are a total of 4 sections which are as follows.

Section	Number of Questions	Time Limit (min)
Quantitative Aptitude	25	30-35
Data Interpretation	22-25	25-30
Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning	20-25	20-25
Emotional Quotient and General Awareness	30-40	25-35

Since a lot of students opt for CAT and XAT exam to take admission in XIMB, scoring well in X-GMAT is quite easier though the level of questions is at par. So, prepare well and nail the exam.
