IIM Raipur was founded in 2010 and is among the new IIMs to be developing quickly, which is important to keep in mind. The Ministry of HRD, GoI has recognized IIM Raipur as an institute of national importance due to its high RoI. In the Outlook-ICARE MBA Rankings 2022, IIM- Raipur is ranked eighth among India's top 25 government business schools. According to the NIRF Rankings 2022, IIM Raipur is ranked 14th in the management category. IIM Raipur was also ranked second in the CSR-GHRDC B School Ranking Survey 2021 under Top Government B School in the overall category, which is the institute's highest ranking ever. The college is in Naya Raipur, the state capital of Chhattisgarh.

Pros of IIM Raipur include:

It is clearly a personal choice as there seems to be very little difference between the two. Let us compare both the institutes in detail for you to make a more informed choice.

IIM Rohtak is located in the Delhi NCR region while IIM Raipur is located at Naya Raipur, the capital city of Chhattisgarh.
However good the city of Naya Raipur may be, the perks of being close to the Delhi NCR are unparalleled. This will help in placements, life outside of the campus, etc.
Both are neck to neck in terms of placements. But IIM Raipur slightly edges past IIM Rohtak in some aspects.
