For a BTech, UIET is better than SLIET Sangrur. It is a part of Panjab University and is more reputed compared to the local technological institutes. UIET placements are better as well. According to the placement highlights of 2022, the average CTC offered by the institute was INR 6.96 LPA. While the highest CTC for the institute is INR 31 LPA. Microsoft, Google, Amazon, etc. are among the major recruiters that take part in UIET placements.

Since UIET Chandigarh is a government college that comes under Panjab University, so it is a better choice for B.Tech in terms of quality of education as well as placements statistics.
