For admission XLRI looks at the overall profile of students and not just on the academic record or XAT percentile. If you have done exceptionally well in other avenues of life, such as if have excellent extracurricular, or notable achievements in sports, then you can get shortlisted.
Since your academic record is poor, try to be in the top 5% in XAT, to maximize your chance to get shortlisted.
Your admission to XLRI is very unlikely based on your academic score. As every year some of the top scorers across India apply for admissions in XLRI. Also, work experience is one of the basic eligibility criteria to take admission in XLRI.
The admission procedure of XLRI is not based solely on the XAT score. There are many more steps that you have to ace in to get selected like:
XAT cutoff is the only criteria for GD and PI calls.

I would suggest you lookout for some other Business Schools. It is not impossible to get into XLRI with a low academic score if you have any other skills or achievements like sports or any other extra-curricular activity. You can still apply to XLRI.
