What advice would you give to a fresher at the Institute of Public Enterprise, Hyderabad?

One of my friends graduated from the Institute of Public Enterprise, Hyderabad, here's what he has to say about it -

• Seek advice from the professors. Many of them are very helpful.
• The GPA doesn't hold utmost importance. But also avoid getting bad scores.
• Register for all the prerequisites for the courses for your next semester.
• Be a good reader, improve your writing skills, and oration skills. It is helpful during placements. Make good use of library facilities.
• The skill of getting along with everybody will come in handy. Not every senior will guide you right. So, accept and act on their advice wisely.
• Take caution and assess the consequences and repercussions before you act upon anything.
• Indulge in sports. The gym tariffs are low and make use of Health Club facilities.
• Join a club to learn.
• Study every day to avoid piling up daily assignments.

Keep clear of any negative feelings you may invite from fellow students, faculty, or just anyone on the campus. Also, try to engage in extracurricular activities and not only academics. This is considered during placements.
