Monash Accounting Honors Scholarship

Monash Accounting Honors Scholarship is exclusively designed for students who are enrolled in B.Com (Hons) majoring in Accounts and finance at Monash University. Domestic and international students with an Australian student visa are eligible.

  • No separate scholarship application is required. Eligible students will automatically be considered.
  • The selection of the student is done based on academic achievement.

Eligibility Criteria

Monash Accounting Honors Scholarship offers the chance to international students who wish to pursue higher education in Canada at Monash University. Students must meet certain eligibility requirements listed below:

  • Both domestic and international students can apply.
  • Must be commencing full-time majoring in the Monash campus of Australia
  • Must also maintain Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70% and above.

Application Process

Students who want to secure the Monash Accounting Honors Scholarship must also meet admission requirements at Monash University.

All students of the Monash University who are currently pursuing B.COM Honors in Accounting and Finance are automatically assessed by the University.

The scholarship cannot be deferred and is automatically applied to the student’s educational purposes.


Selection Process

Only those applicants who have a Weighted Average Marks of 70% and above in their previous semesters are considered for Monash Accounting Honors Scholarship.

  • The applicants are evaluated based on academic achievement in accounting or finance during the final two years of their degree.
  • The selection committee also takes into account the significant awards received due to academic excellence in their fields.

The final decision is taken by a selection panel where each student is judged on the basis of aptitude, conduct, knowledge, and other criteria.


Grant Details

Monash Accounting Honors Scholarship offered a grant of 6000 AUD to the students of Monash University. It applies to all students pursuing their B.Com Honors majoring in Accounting and Finance.
