Bob Normand ATB Financial Scholarship is offered to one student enrolled in the B.Com program at Haskayne School of Business. The ATB scholarship recipient is awarded CAD 1500.

Eligibility Criteria

Students applying for Bob Normand Scholarship must be pursuing a Commerce degree from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary.

To secure Bob Normand ATB Financial Scholarship, applicants have to fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned below :

  • Must have a CGPA of 3.2 in their Bachelor's degree up to the time they apply for the scholarship.
  • Students who are in the 4th year of their pursuing degree of Bachelor in Commerce.

Students who wish to obtain this scholarship must also know admission at Haskayne School of Business.


Application Process

Students only in the fourth year of their pursuing a Calgary B.Com degree will be eligible for ATB Scholarship.

The applicant must have proper documentation that needs to be provided during the application process. Failing to provide the documents within the specified time to lead to the cancellation of the application.

  • Applications for scholarship grant must be submitted through the official portal of My UofC.
  • Students need to have proper documentation of their mark sheet and residency. Furthermore, students are advised to apply as per the university process which will be specified to them in the university itself.

However, since it is based on merit, students are advised to complete the application at their fastest convenience.


Selection Process

The selection process for Bob Normand ATB Financial Scholarship is based solely on merit and the decision of ATB Financial is binding in all matters. The selection committee will review the applications submitted by the applicants. They will review each application case by case.

The selection is done on the basis of CGPA obtained by the student for the past semester till the application. The minimum requirement for the CGPA is 3.2 but needless to mention the student with higher CGPA shall be considered for the grant.

Students must also complete extracurricular activities that demonstrate leadership ability.

Note: Along with that students who have attended a secondary institution while pursuing the degree but have not chosen to participate in the official exchange program shall be debarred from the selection process.


Grant Details

The ATB Financial awarded Bob Normand ATB Financial Scholarship to students on the basis of merit. A grant of CAD 1500 is generated in the name of the student who is selected for the scholarship. This scholarship offers students a chance to study in one of the top universities in Canada.

Only one student is granted this scholarship which is non-renewable and offered one time only for educational expenses.

The applicant must be a student at the University of Calgary. He must also be pursuing a degree Bachelor in Commerce and Finance at the Hayskayne School of business.
