Sydney Future Leaders MBA Scholarship
Sydney Future Leaders MBA Scholarship is offered to students planning to do a part-time MBA at the University of Sydney Business School. Applicants must note that the scholarship is only applicable for a part-time MBA program at the University of Sydney.
- Sydney Future Leaders MBA Scholarship valued at more than AUD 60,000.
- It will cover full tuition fees for a maximum of four years of part-time study.
- Applicants must submit an external application form for Sydney Future Leaders MBA Scholarship.
- For ongoing eligibility, applicants must maintain at least 65 marks as semester average marks.
The current students enrolled in the University of Sydney MBA, University of Sydney employees are also NOT eligible for the scholarship. Also, currently, the scholarship program is not accepting scholarships from international students.

Eligibility Criteria
To obtain the Sydney Future Leaders MBA Scholarship, applicants must fulfill the eligibility criteria listed below:
- Must be Australian or permanent citizen or New Zealand Citizen
- Must be eligible to receive an unconditional offer for a part-time MBA.
- Secured admission at the University of Sydney, by the time of scholarship application.
- Current MBA students, University employees, and program partners are not eligible.
Sydney Future Leaders MBA Scholarship Ongoing Eligibility
- Maintain at least 65 marks as semester average marks.
- Continue enrollment as a part-time student.
- Maintain a minimum enrolment load of 18 credit points of study per year.
- Represent the University of Sydney Business School at university and corporate networking events.
Application Process
Eligible applicants of the Sydney Future Leaders MBA Scholarship can apply through the part-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program and then submit an online application form for the scholarship.
Applicants must complete an online application form along with the required documents.

Selection Process
Once the Sydney Future Leaders MBA Scholarship application is submitted by the candidates, next comes the selection process. The selection process for the scholarship will take place in three rounds.
Round 1: Application submission along with a statement of motivation.
Round 2: Shortlisted candidates are required to attend a masterclass at the Sydney CBD campus and submit a short reflective essay.
Round 3: Candidates are then invited for an interview session with the judging panel. The Scholarship amount will be awarded on the nomination of a selection committee. The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of:
- Eligibility for the MBA Program,
- Academic skills
- Resume
- Personal statement
Grant Details
The students who opted for a part-time MBA program at the Sydney Business School are eligible for the Sydney Future Leaders MBA Scholarship.
The Sydney Future Leaders MBA Scholarship includes complete tuition fees for a maximum of four years of part-time MBA studies. Applicants have to arrange for the accommodation to study in Australia and pay for it.
The Sydney Future Leaders MBA Scholarship? will be terminated in case:
- Withdraws from an eligible course or fails to continue enrolment.
- Not able to maintain satisfactory academic performance
- Found guilty of serious misconduct and provided false or wrong information as part of their Scholarship application
- Has already received another scholarship administered by the University of Sydney.
- Does not resume studies at the end of a period of approved leave
- Violation of any other reason as indicated in these terms would result in termination.
Once terminated, the Sydney Future Leaders MBA Scholarship amount will not be reinstated until and unless there is university error.
