Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for Thomas and Margaret Roddan Trust Bursary, applicants must satisfy the following requirements

  • Citizenship: International; Scotland, Ireland, Northern Islands.
  • Level of Study: Available for both UG and PG programs at St. Andrews
    • For Undergraduate: Enrolled in Year II and Year III of the program.
    • For Postgraduate: Final year UG students; PG coursework and research student.
  • Evidence of academic merit and financial need.
  • Must have already paid the tuition fees and accommodation costs.

Application Process

Thomas and Margaret Roddan Trust Bursary applications must be submitted through the "scholarship and funding" catalog. To view this catalog, please select " Entry year 2020".

The scholarship applications for Thomas and Margaret Roddan Trust Bursary 2020 will, tentatively, be out in April 2020. 

As a part of the application, candidates are required to upload a few students supporting documents. The submitted documents must provide the following details:

  • Academic and personal achievements
  • Financial aid amount you need, between GBP 500 and GBP 3,000.
  • Income and expenditure statement, reflecting your request for money.
    • Must be broken down into monthly (12) amounts

Selection Process

Once the application form is submitted, the form will be scrutinized by the selection panel of the University St. Andrews. Selections are majorly based on the applicant's career potential and merit.
