Sussex Graduate Scholarship

The Sussex Graduate Scholarship is a financial aid given to international students towards their program's tuition & fees. The scholarship is applicable to graduate/ Masters (PG-taught) Programs at the University of Sussex.

The program includes unlimited number of scholarships for eligible students at the University.
Sussex Graduate Scholarships are awarded to applicants with excellent academic performance.
Recipients are awarded GBP 3,000 for their tuition fees.

Applicants must note that the Sussex Graduate Scholarship at the University of Sussex is a non-renewable scholarship program. The application process for the 2020 scholarship session is yet to begin.

Eligibility Criteria

Sussex Graduate Scholarship requires applicants to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:

Must be completing bachelor’s degree from the University of Sussex
Fulfilling the entry requirements of chosen on-campus PG program
Academics grade:First Class or Upper Second Class honors degree
Maintaining enrollment throughout the course, with a full-time study load.

Applicants will NOT be considered eligible if

Received any other sussex scholarship previously (i.e. Chancellor's International Scholarship)
Studies in a University of Sussex partner college (Ex. BIMM)
Progressing into the final year of an Masters(integrated)

Moreover, applicants will not be considered for the Sussex Graduate scholarship if you are going to study the following courses:

Postgraduate diplomas (including CPE )
Development Studies MA
Corruption, Governance and Law LLM (delivered in Qatar)
Globalization, Business and Development MA
Early Years in Education MA
Governance, Development and Public Policy MA
Power, Participation and Social Change MA
Masters degrees in Social Work
Poverty and Development MA
PGCE courses
Schools direct teaching courses
Masters funded by the research councils

Application Process

Prospective applicants of the Sussex Graduate Scholarship are not required to apply separately for the scholarships.

The University of Sussex admission applications of eligible applicants will be automatically considered for the scholarship purpose.

Selection Process

Applications of Sussex Graduate Scholarship are analyzed and evaluated by a panel of selectors at the Sussex university.

Grant Details

International applicants appearing for their final year of UG program at the University of Sussex and planning to pursue PG program the university, may apply for Sussex Graduate Scholarship.

Eligible applicants are not required to submit any additional application form as they will be automatically considered on the basis of their admission applications.
