NOTE- Applicants funded by other organizations or institutes are not eligible. However, international applicants who are seeking government education loans for their studies in the UK at UEA are eligible to apply for these scholarships.
Applying for the UEA International Undergraduate Scholarship requires a student to complete an online application by June 30, 2023. The applicant must be in possession of either a conditional or unconditional offer from UEA in any undergraduate course.
After securing admission to the University of East Anglia, the applicants are required to complete the scholarship application form available on the university website. The form should be complete in all respects to avoid rejection.
The selection of the applications for UEA International Undergraduate Scholarships is merit-based. The previous academic record and performance, along with the fulfillment of all the eligibility criteria are taken into consideration prior to taking the final decision.
The decision of the University’s Awarding Committee is final and communicated to all the successful candidates. Also, scholarship applications are considered on a rolling basis. Therefore the sooner an applicant applies for the scholarship, the sooner they will be notified about their acceptance.
The UEA International Undergraduate Scholarship is available for self-funded international fee-paying students. The award amount varies and amounts to £4,000, £6,000 or £10,000 per year of study.
The applicants enrolling for medicine programs at UEA, occupational therapy or physiotherapy courses are not considered for these scholarships and are advised not to apply for the same. Those students who are currently enrolled in any foundation course in the UK are also not eligible to apply for these scholarships.

The criterion to award these UEA International Undergraduate Scholarship is based on the academic merits and zeal to contribute towards the community after or during the study in the UK at UEA. The awarding committee of the university is the sole authority for deciding these scholarships. The applicants may get lower or higher amounts as the awarding committee deems suitable.
Only one academic or other donor-funded scholarship can be availed by the successful grantee of the scholarships. In case any applicant is successful in receiving more than one award, he/she will be entitled to make a choice which one he/she would like to continue with.
Withdrawal or suspension from the course or misrepresentation of fact to receive the scholarships may result in termination of the scholarship and a refund of the amount will be required by the university.
