Calgary Senator Stan Waters Memorial Scholarship

Calgary Senator Stan Waters Memorial Scholarship is given to the continuing UG students studying at the University of Calgary. Separate application forms are to be completed to be considered for the scholarship.

Students entering third or fourth year in the :
- Haskayne School of Business
- the Schulich School of Engineering or
- the Faculty of Arts doing majors in Political Science are eligible to apply.
Must involve in scholastic or extra-curricular activities promoting the development of superior communication skills.
The scholarship amount worth up to 5,000 CAD is offered to two recipients.

Preference will be given to students to demonstrate leadership in student government and student activities with a business and/or political direction.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must fulfill the eligibility requirements listed below to be eligible for Calgary Senator Stan Waters Memorial Scholarship.

Must be UG students who enter the third and fourth year in the:
- Haskayne School of Business or
- the Schulich School of Engineering or
- Faculty of Arts with majors in Political Science.
Must have at least a GPA score of 3.20.
Must complete their last Fall and Winter sessions as a full-time student.
Must demonstrate leadership in student government, student activities (preferably with a business and/or political direction)
Must involve in scholastic or extra-curricular activities promoting the development of superior communication skills.
The students pursuing spring and summer courses are not eligible to apply to these scholarships.

Selection Process
