UWE Bristol MBA Scholarship

UWE Bristol MBA Scholarship is a financial aid provided by UWE Bristol for its international postgraduate students. The scholarship is applicable for students applying for an MBA program at the University of West England (UWE).

The applicant must have received an offer to study at UWE.
The applicant must be an international student to be eligible.
Must have achieved the equivalent of a British 1st or a 2:1 in UG degree
The award offers an amount of 50% tuition fees for one academic year.
Application in the form of a personal statement has to be submitted for consideration.
The application should be completed before May

The recipient of the UWE Bristol MBA Scholarship will be expected to be an active member of the UWE Bristol Alumni Network and participate in its events and programs.

Eligibility Criteria

To secure the UWE Bristol MBA Scholarship, applicants must meet the eligibility criteria listed below:

Must have achieved the equivalent of a British 1st or a 2:1 in an undergraduate degree.
Must hold a conditional or unconditional offer, where IELTS or an equivalent English language is the only condition.
Must pursue an MBA degree from UWE.
Must have at least three years of organizational exposure, like a paid job, an internship, etc.
Must be a fresh student to the UWE Bristol with no previous study in the UK.
Must be classified as an international student for fee purposes.
Must not be sponsored student or recipient of another scholarship/award
Must provide academic transcripts at the time of application.

Application Process

Applicants who have secured the equivalent of a British 1st or 2:1 in their UG degrees will be invited by the UWE to apply for the Bristol MBA scholarship.

Applicants must submit their scholarship statements through their UWE Welcome portal. Applicants must answer three questions listed below:

Why an applicant consider the MBA, and not another program, will help in his/her future professional development?
How the Bristol MBA will contribute to the business sector/industry of applicant’s expertise or the entrepreneurial endeavors he/she are involved in or going to be involved in?
How will an applicant contribute to the Bristol MBA community during and after graduation?

The students should write their answers well and then save the document as “Personal Statement for MBA (Full-time) Scholarship” and upload the same via their portal.

The students should submit their application before May to be considered for the September session.

Selection Process

Applicants will be selected based on the personal statements submitted along with the application form.

Academic Qualification and Work experience of an applicant will also be taken into consideration for the selection.
Recipients will be notified about the same in the month of June .They will have to pay 3,000 GBP deposit to UWE Bristol within a week of receiving the scholarship offer letter.

The recipient must also prove that they satisfy the UKVI criteria in terms of being able to cover living costs and the remainder of the fees.

Grant Details

UWE Bristol MBA Scholarship is awarded by the University of West England to the academically meritorious international student.

Students who want to pursue an MBA program at UWE are eligible to apply.
The scholarship is offered in terms of a 50% tuition fee waiver to the recipient.
Applications for the same must b submitted before May to be eligible.
