Awarded by the Fairleigh Dickinson University, the FDU International Graduate Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship. The scholarship is awarded to international students looking to pursue their higher studies in the USA.

The deadline to apply for the FDU International Graduate Scholarship is the same as the admission application deadline for Fairleigh Dickinson University. The deadline is July 1 for Fall admissions and December 1 for Spring admissions and May 1 for Summer admissions (Limited programs)

Eligibility Criteria

The FDU has set the following criteria which need to be followed by every applicant. Only upon satisfying all the eligibility criteria can the student apply for FDU International Graduate Scholarship. Applicant must:

be an international applicant.
have received an offer and are enrolled in a graduate program at the FDU to avail of this scholarship.
must be a full-time student at the university.
not hold any other scholarship

The FDU International Scholarship is awarded only at the time of admission. Once awarded, the award amount would not increase. The applicant must make sure to submit all the documents required along with the admission application.

NOTE: Meeting minimum criteria does not ensure receipt of an award

Application Process

There are no separate scholarship applications required. A student is automatically considered for the scholarship once an application for admissions to FDU has been successfully submitted along with the supplemental documents.

The supplemental documents required along with the admission application include:

Completed international admission application
Proof of Permanent Residency
A copy of passport
Academic transcripts
English language proficiency through TOEFL/ IELTS scores
Letter of Recommendation.
Scores of standardized exams to study in the USA
Bank Statements or Certification of Finances

All of the following documents need to be submitted by July 1 for Fall admission and December 1 for Spring admission and May 1 for summer admission (Limited programs). If a student fails to submit all required documents by the given deadline, the application will not be considered for the scholarship process.

Selection Process

Securing the minimum criteria for the scholarship does not guarantee the award for any applicant. The selection for the FDU International Graduate Scholarship is done at the time of admission.

The scholarship amount once awarded will not increase. Also, the awards can only be used against the Fall and Spring semesters.
