Margaret Basu Scholarship

Margaret Basu Scholarship is for Indian students looking to pursue PG studies at the London School of Economics. With small support, the scholarship program tries to reduce some financial burden on students beginning their higher education in the UK.

Eligibility Criteria

To be selected for the Margaret Basu Scholarship, the applicants must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Citizens and current resident of India.
  • Demonstration of outstanding academic merit
  • Conditional or unconditional admission to the London School of Economics.
  • Enrolling for the first time in an LSE postgraduate program

Application Process

To apply for Margaret Basu Scholarship 2020, applicants must adhere to the following guidelines:

  1. Submit the LSE Graduate admission application, with necessary supporting documentation.
  2. Submit the LSE Graduate Financial Support Application Form 2023
  3. Recieve for a conditional or unconditional letter of admission to their chosen course of study.

The submission of the graduate financial support form also makes the student eligible for any other scholarship or funding for study at the London School of Economics


Selection Process

The selection committee is assigned through the financial aid office of the London School of Economics. The committee analyses each student’s application for financial aid and makes their decision accordingly.
