ANU College of Business and Economics Honours Scholarship

ANU College of Business and Economics Honours Scholarship is offered to the most deserving students who wish to pursue higher studies at ANU. The scholarship is offered to up to 5 students applying to any honors program offered by ANU College of Business and Economics.

The scholarship of 15,000 AUD (8,41,532 INR) per annum is funded by the college.
- The cost is provided in equal installments to the students.
The scholarship amount covers the semester fees of the student. All other expenses are the responsibility of the student.
If the student decides to defer his admission to the college, they will lose the scholarship opportunity.
Students are not required to submit any additional application, to be considered for the award.

ANU College of Business and Economics has the right to discontinue the scholarship if the student does not show academic excellence in his first semester.

Eligibility Criteria

Students must meet the admission requirements at ANU College of Business and Economics are eligible. In addition to that, applicants must :

Be domestic or international students who wish to study in australia.
Must have applied for a full-time honors program at ANU College of Business and Economics.

The applicant should be well-qualified for the program to be considered for the scholarship.

Ongoing Eligibility:

Maintain an average of 70% in the first semester to receive the grant
Must be enrolled and take a full-time load.
Must have 24 units each semester.

Application Process

There is no different scholarship application that needs to be submitted. The College will shortlist candidates among the selected students for the program based on their grade point average (GPA) or weighted average mark (WAM) in their previous courses before enrolling for honors.

The student will be awarded this scholarship for the 2 semesters.

If the student is unable to maintain 70% of the average in their first semester of honors, the College has the right to discontinue the scholarship or demand a clarification for below-average performance to receive a grant for the second semester.

Selection Process

ANU College of Business and Economics expects the candidates to showcase academic excellence, as this is a merit-based scholarship.

The applicant needs to prove academic excellence. The students will be judged on the GPA or WAM during the completion of their courses that will decide their eligibility for the honors program and the scholarship.

The College can decide to not award the scholarship to any student who does not meet the expectations.

Grant Details

ANU College of Business and Economics Honours Scholarship is offered to students who have completed their UG program at ANU CBE and wish to enroll in the Honors program.

The scholarship will be provided for 2 semesters to students who are selected for the honors program.

The acceptance and the value of the grant will be mentioned in the offer letter.
It will not cover other expenses of study material, accommodation, other allowances, etc.

If the student provides false information to receive the grant, the students can be asked to repay the grant money.

The scholarship can be terminated if the student changes it’s course, enroll for a part-time course or is unable to take the full-time load of credits.
