Radboud Scholarship Programme

Targeting international students, the Radboud Scholarship Programme is designed to provide a platform for talented and motivated students to pursue graduate programs at the university. The program presents the students with an opportunity to study in the Netherlands.

  • Scholarship program is applicable for English-taught masters programs at the Radboud University.
  • An approximate number of 30 students are annually awarded the scholarship.
  • Radboud Scholarship Programme scholarship covers only like the tuition fee.

Recipients of the Radboud Scholarship Programme must not combine their financial aid with the Holland Scholarship or the Orange Tulip Scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants of the Radboud Scholarship Programme must fulfill the eligibility criteria given above:

  • Non-EU/EEA or international student studying on Netherland student visa.
    • Comply with conditions of student visa
    • NOT eligible for lower EEA tuition fees
  • No prior educational history or degree from Netherland
  • Secured admission in an English-taught master’s program, beginning September 1, 2023.
  • Enrolled at Radboud University as a full-time student.

Only those applicants who fulfill the above-listed requirements will be considered for the scholarship program.


Application Process

The application for the Radboud Scholarship Program is inclusive in the Radboud University admission application. No separate application form is required.

Eligible applicants can apply for the scholarship program by indicating the same in their OSIRIS application system. They will be asked to upload thee additional student supporting documents:

  • Curriculum vitae ( detailed and updated to it’s latest records)
  • Two reference letters along with the referee’s contact details

Proof of English language proficiency, through IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE

Candidates must have completed their applications before February 28, 2023. Late applications are not accepted or considered for the scholarship, in any circumstances.

Note: Admission to the Radboud University and the chosen master’s programme does imply selection for the Radboud Scholarship Programme.


Selection Process

Applicants must have completed their applications, in time, to be considered. The selections of the Radboud Scholarship programme recipients will be based on the following factors:

  • Academic proficiency plays the most crucial role.
    • previous examination records, grades, and scores are taken into account.
  • Letters of reference are evaluated and substantiated for proper verification ;
  • Motivation letter submitted for the Radboud master’s program.
