Guardian Trust Master’s Scholarship in Commerce

The Guardian Trust Master’s Scholarship in Commerce is awarded by the University of Canterbury to students beginning a master's degree in Commerce. The scholarship program is available for both domestic and international students.

Eligibility Criteria

The scholarship program in Commerce does not have any restrictions in terms of nationality or residency. The program is open for both domestic and international students, present in New Zealand on student visa.

Grant Details

  • The recipient must formally accept the scholarship offer within one month, else it shall lapse.
  • The amount will be paid in equal monthly installments to the recipients New Zealand bank account.
  • The recipient of the Guardian Trust Master’s scholarship is allowed to simultaneously hold another award.
    • This excludes any research related reimbursement provided the value does not exceed 50% of the scholarship value.
  • In case the award exceeds the amount of Guardian Trust Master Scholarship then the difference will be deducted from the scholarship emolument.
