TU Dublin Centenary Scholarship

TU Dublin Centenary Scholarship is introduced for the prospective international students who apply for taught masters studies at Technological University Dublin. Almost 60 scholarships are offered to students beginning their studies in Ireland at TU Dublin.

  • Applicable for masters programs at TU Dublin’s four colleges:
    • Arts & Tourism
    • Business
    • Engineering & Built Environment
    • Sciences & Health
  • Selection decisions are made after the evaluation of each applicant’s academic potential.
  • TU Dublin Centenary Scholarship applications will now open in the month of September.
  • The scholarship will cover the awarded amount against one year of tuition fees.

Since the TU Dublin Centenary Scholarship is for international students only, they must submit applications before the deadline to receive this financial aid. Furthermore, they must complete the paperwork to obtain Ireland student visa.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility requirements for TU Dublin Centenary Scholarship are mentioned below:

  • Citizenship: International students only
  • Level of Study: Full-time taught masters program on TU Dublin
    • Not applicable for PG diploma and graduate certificates.
  • Academic Qualification: First-class honors degree from UG program
  • Scores of exams attempted to study in Ireland.

As can be seen, the eligibility criteria for this scholarship program is quite basic. Therefore, only those applicants who fulfill each and every requirement will be considered for the TU Dublin Centenary Scholarship.


Application Process

The students selecting a taught Masters (Level 9) program at the Technological University Dublin, can apply for the scholarship in the following manner:

  1. Check the chosen PG program’s eligibility for the TU Dublin Centenary Scholarship.
  2. Complete the Dublin Centenary Scholarship application form.
    • Next phase of the scholarship program will begin in September.
  3. Mail the duly completed application forms to centenary.scholarship@dit.ie.

Before applying for the TU Dublin Scholarship, applicants must accept the offer of admission at the Technological University Dublin. Otherwise, they will not be considered for the scholarship


Selection Process

The evaluation of the TU Dublin Centenary Scholarship application forms will be performed by an academic panel. Since Technological University Dublin is one of the top-ranking universities in Ireland, the selections for the scholarship are rigid.

  • Recipients will be selected based on academic merit along with a detailed review of the application.
  • Shortlisted students will be via email from the International Office
  • TU Dublin Centenary Scholarship recipients must accept the offer within two weeks.

In case of failure to accept the offer within the mentioned time frame, the scholarship will be considered null and void.

A student who withdraws, cancels or becomes inactive, enrolls less than full-time will be suspended, or dismissed from the Institute which will result in loss of scholarship amount as well. Also, applicants must note that the scholarship is provided for the tuition fee and will not cover a recipient’s cost of living in Ireland.
