ANU Excellence Scholarship Program

The ANU Excellence Scholarship Program is offered by Australian National University to international students applying for selected UG or PG degree programs. Recipients of the scholarship are awarded a substantial tuition fee waiver to pursue studies at the Australian National University.

Applicable for only full-time and on-campus programs at the university.
A separate application form must be completed after the confirmation of admission to ANU.
Recipients of the ANU Excellence Scholarship Program receive:
- 5000 AUD as a discount on tuition fee in the first year
- 10% reduction in the fees in subsequent years.
Selections are based on the academic merit of the applicants.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility requirement of the ANU Excellence Scholarship Program is given below:

International students, studying in Australia of Study visa
Applying for either an undergraduate or graduate program at ANU.
Enrolling in one of the following colleges of Australian National University
- ANU College of Engineering and Computer Sciences
- ANU College of Business and Economics
- ANU Joint College of Sciences
Must be enrolling in ANU program for the first time.
Excellent results in secondary studies qualification or UG degree

The dependents or a spouse of staff of consular or diplomatic missions enrolling for a post-graduate degree program are also eligible for the scholarship.

Applicants who have verified their eligibility for the ANU Excellence Scholarship Program must complete an online application form, to apply for the same.

As a part of the ANU Excellence Scholarship Program, applicants may be asked to submit the following supporting documents.

Selection Process

The ANU Excellence Scholarship is a competitive scholarship and awarded to students from different countries on the basis of academic merit. Other factors influencing the selection decisions are:

Fulfillment of program requirements
Completion of application on time
Attempted tests to study in Australia

The decision regarding the award of the scholarship is made by College selection committees chaired by the Dean of the relevant college, including other College staff appointed by the Dean.
