Designed to support the students of developing countries, L-EARN for Impact Scholarship offers financial aid of 10.000 EUR- 22.000 EUR. The scholarship program is applicable to students enrolling in various master’s programs at the Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility requirements for the L-EARN for Impact Scholarship are given below:

  • Citizen of a Developing country (as per World Bank)
  • Opting a masters program at Erasmus University Rotterdam, at one of the following schools:
    • Erasmus School of Economics
    • Rotterdam School of Management
    • Erasmus School of Law
    • Erasmus School of Social Behavioral Sciences
    • Erasmus School of Philosophy
    • International Institute of Social Studies
    • Erasmus MC
    • Institute for Housing and Development Studies
  • Outstanding academic grade, equivalent to Dutch grade of 8.0 (as per Dutch grading scale 1 to 10).
  • Relevant work experience after the completion of the Bachelor’s degree.

Application Process

Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria and have received an offer of admission to Erasmus University Rotterdam can proceed to apply for the scholarship.

Each participating school has its own guidelines for the scholarship application process. However, applications must be submitted online only. The application form for L-EARN for Impact Scholarship must include the following elements:

    • Why do you need the scholarship?
    • Why should you be considered an excellent candidate?
    • What’s your recent relevant work experience after earning a Bachelor’s degree?

Selection Process
