Jared J. Davis Grant: Eligibility, Application & Selection Process

Jared J. Davis Grant

The Jared J. Davis Grant is a one-time award of 1000 USD (73,729 INR) given to support the education of a struggling college student. It is instituted by Jared Jeffrey Davis, an entrepreneur who founded a Real Estate Investment Firm, and he believes that anyone who seeks education should be able to do so.

  • The candidate is selected on the basis of an essay they submit in application for the scholarship.
  • Any student from any college/university in any stream can apply.

Every year, Mr. Davis reviews the application essays and selects one student as the recipient of the award. The funds will be given directly to the recipient’s financial aid account.

Eligibility Criteria

There are no restrictions to apply for the Jared J. Davis Grant. The applicants only have to meet the following requirements:

  • Applicant can be in their last year of high school, currently accepted to an accredited college or university
  • Applicant can be enrolled in an accredited college or university, in their first, second or third year
  • Applicant can be of any nationality
  • Applicant can be in any field of study
  • The accredited college can be a part of any of the top universities in the world.

Applicants must submit an essay of 700-800 words on the following topic: Is an adequate investment in online marketing and in social media advertising the best way to attract a larger audience?


Application Process

Applicants are supposed to submit their essays via email, in the form of a Word document, to jared@jareddavisgrant.com. The following information must be provided along with the essay:

  • First name and Last name
  • Phone number
  • Mailing address
  • Email address
  • If still in high school -
    • Graduation date (YYYY.MM.DD)
    • The college/university you are applying to, or have been accepted at
  • If already studying in college -
    • The accredited college/university you are currently enrolled in
    • Current GPA

The applications usually happen in August or September.


Selection Process

All the essays received are carefully read by Jared J. Davis, and a candidate who answers the given question the best will be selected. The candidate must prove themselves to be passionate about their studies. The final recipient of the award will be notified via email and have their name posted on www.jareddavisgrant.com.
