Anil and Giljit Khosla, Rachna and Sona Bursary

Anil and Giljit, Rachna and Sona Bursary program is designed to help those students who are in need of financial support and are with a financial burden. This bursary is awarded to students of the University of Calgary in Canada.

Benefits of Scholarship Program:

Provides financial support to the needy.
Grants a bursary of 1500 CAD (85,915 INR) annually.
Awarded to a continuing undergraduate student of any faculty.
Program entering year - 2nd, 3rd, 4th.
Students of any citizenship are eligible for this bursary.

Anil and Giljit, Rachna, and Sona Bursary will be paid out directly to recipients’ tuition fees and will not be applied to any outstanding tuition and/or fees. The recipient of the bursary must continue to meet the financial as well as academic terms of reference for the grants.

Eligibility Criteria

Students must be able to demonstrate financial need:
- Eligible costs minus available resources equals financial need.
- The need must impact the ability to continue studies at the University of Calgary.
Students must also meet the academic requirements:
- Continuing students must have successfully completed the previous full-time in both Fall and Winter Terms at the University of Calgary.
- Students must have a GPA of at least 2.60 in 18 units completed.

All students must apply through: Central Authentication Service
After successfully signing in, students must click on the ‘My Financials’ page.
Next students must click on "Apply for Undergraduate Awards".

A pop-up window will open on your screen containing any open applications or ones that recently closed. Kindly pay attention to the ‘Application Available’ and ‘Application Deadline’ dates. Students do ensure pop-ups are enabled in your systems. If pop-ups are blocked the page will not display.

Selection Process

All selected students for the Anil and Giljit, Rachna, and Sona Bursary program will be notified of their results within 3 to 4 weeks of their application submission date.
Results will be mailed to their University of Calgary email address.
