BITS Pilani Dubai offers a BE of Chemical Engineering program for a duration of 4 years.
It is a full-time course.
Chemical engineering applies fundamental principles in physics, math, chemistry, and biology to chemical and biochemical processes.
The curriculum is designed to equip the students with essential knowledge and necessary skills to enable them to undertake challenging tasks in industrial as well as research environments.
In the first year, the foundation is laid with courses on sciences, humanities, math and statistics, and professional communication. In subsequent years, the student is taught a wide spectrum of core as well as allied courses; such as fluid, heat and mass transfer, reactor design, process control, process design, material science, etc.
The fee convertible in INR is approx 8,96,850.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

The student must have obtained a minimum 60% overall and PCM aggregate of marks in the CBSE, IB or it's equivalent international, national, or state board and must have a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths subjects with at least 50% marks in each subject.
If a Candidate has secured less than 50% marks in any one of these subjects - Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology but meets the aggregate criteria mentioned above, he/she may be considered for provisional admission which will be confirmed only upon the successful completion of a remedial course in that subject with a minimum grade of ‘C’.
IELTS exam accepted but not mandatory.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
