In a virtual meeting held on Monday, Lucknow University’s Faculty of Fine Arts has collaborated with UK’s Bath Spa University to organize events and activities among students from both universities. This would help in enhancing opportunities and learning for students of the Faculty.

The meeting was organized by vice-chancellor Alok Kumar Rai and Dean, Faculty of Fine Arts, Professor Alok Kumar Kushwaha along with Roger Clarke, Daniel Allen and Kristin Doern on the account of Bath Spa University.

Professor Kushwaha took the meeting forward by establishing the importance of Fine Arts and its benefaction to Indian Art.
Professor Rajan Shripad Fulari, Liaison Officer on behalf of LU, came up with several events and activities that would help in strengthening the partnership between both universities.

“Both the institutions agreed for speeding up of ties on art and aesthetics between the two and strongly welcomed the initiative taken by the VCs of both the universities," the press statement said.
Considering covid situation, it was collectively decided that the initial activities would be held virtually.
