The Sonny Mehta India Scholarship will fully support talented Indian writers to enable them to undertake study in the prestigious department of Literature, Drama and Creative Writing at UEA.

The Sony Mehta scholarship was founded by Gita Mehta in 2021, in the honor of her late husband, Sonny Mehta, Editor-in-Chief of US publishing house Alfred A Knopf and Chairman of the Knopf Doubleday Group.
