It was the closest major city that I had not experienced enough. I had a lot of friends going to study in Birmingham as well as some friends who live in Birmingham. It was a last-minute decision, to be honest - between Nottingham Trent and Birmingham City.
Course Curriculum
I think Business Management is a fixed syllabus however around the world, business is changing and it is important to be aware of it. My degree personally, did not just teach me more but allowed me to enhance my skills to become better in the business world.
Exams
To the best of my knowledge, my university had a points requirement that was generated by my subject boards. The overall total that was minimally required was 120 points. Fortunately for me, I had reached 128 points.
Placement
I am not sure about this. Unfortunately, my university life ended short due to the lockdown that had been put in place.
Internship
No, I didn't get an internship.
Events
Campus life was enjoyable. There was a cafe that became a relaxation zone after lectures or seminars. Socializing around campus with my friends was a great chance to catch up and plan what events we would attend on the day or throughout the week.
Fees
£27,750 is the total tuition fee.
Scholarship
No, in the UK, it is difficult to gain a scholarship or grant to support you to get into a university.
Faculty
John was the best professor I came across - he managed me for Innovative Creation as one of my sub-courses in the degree. It was a great experience working with that faculty. It became frustrating at times when they would not reply or support you but understanding that there are over 1000 students on my course, I can now appreciate the time they gave.
Hostel
For all 3 years at University - my accommodation was amazing. It was close to my university, and had a lot of my friends living around me, and when I lived with my friends in a flat group, made my experience at the university more enjoyable.
