Mohit Sharma Review at Middlesex University [MDX], London | Collegedunia

Thrive for better future - Middlesex University

I initially was confused between Criminology and Forensic Psychology, I found this university was the only one that taught a combination of both. So, it was the best option for me.

Course Curriculum :

The course is very interesting and the faculty seem to be helpful. The course is taught in a good manner and the assignments provide the student with the chance to understand properly what they're doing thereby learning more efficiently.

Exams :

The university usually requires an IELTS score of 6.5 but my IELTS was waived as I had received more than 75 in English in the 12th grade. The course also requires a minimum of second-class honors undergraduate degree; 2:2.

Placement :

There is no placement option for me, I'm going to have to look for jobs in this area but since I have two different areas combined in one course I have several options to look up to. Looking for jobs here is hard if you don't do your research well. In order to land a job you're going to have to keep looking from the time you get in order to shortlist your options.

Internship :

No, I didn't get an internship.

Events :

The campus life is good and encourages students to mix well with not only their culture but students of other nationalities as well. The infrastructure is well built with well-equipped classrooms and wifi available at every corner. There are a lot of extracurricular activities for the students to indulge in; cultural societies, athletic clubs, gaming clubs, department clubs that encourage discussion on the programs and hold quizzes every now and then, etc.

Fees :

14,000 GBP is the program fee.

Scholarship :

I received a regional scholarship of about GBP 2,000 offered to me by the university representative.

Faculty :

The faculty is very experienced, and polite and each faculty member is experienced in various fields which provides the Student with a chance to have somebody to speak in case they need better advice and more accurate information.

Hostel :

I live in private accommodation. There are many options for students; University accommodation seems a bit expensive, and private accommodation is a cheaper option, the only problem is that private accommodation has to be found and it takes a long time.
