Course Curriculum

As a PhD student I have been given the chance to explore my own things where supervisors points out to the right direction for the study. This liberty of exploration has add valuable insights to my research.

Exams

My scores: IELTS: 7.5; Class minimum: IELTS 6.5. I did not have to give any other exams.

Placement

9

The university has an excellent placement and research opportunities. People are placed both in industries and other research facilities all over the world. My previous experience from interaction with its alumni has shown that most of them has pursued a carrier in research or in academics (from my department).

Internship

Currently I am working as a research assistant in PURE (a research network of the university) which was provided to me with 500 GBP. I have also opted for Graduate Teaching Assistant and its a nice way to start for someone who wants to go into academics.

Events

There are many clubs which are available and we can enrolled them through the website. However, currently due to the pandemic situation I have not been able to avail the clubs I would like too but various activities takes place throughout the week. The student association continuously posts all information on the activities continuously almost every other day.

Fees

17300 GBP per year.

Scholarship

No (COVID-19 year).

Faculty

10

The faculty is very helpful and would continuously discuss the research. They always provide great insight

Hostel

The accommodation is perfect. Currently I at a low cost accommodation provided by the university and even then it has all required provisions. You can take both meals or self-cook in the accommodation. Usually accommodation has one person per single room.
