Course Curriculum :

In PhD, course curriculum was more about learning the ethics of doing research, how to write scientific papers, how to write thesis and how to approach your career after PhD.

Ulster University requires IELTS score. For PhD, minimum score requirement is 6.5 and my IELTS score was 7.5.

Placement :

For PhD student, there was support and direction from the supervisor, but no specific arrangements were there from university.

Internship :

NA

Events :

Campus life and infrastructure was really good. They have well equipped infrastructure as well as many extracurricular activities. Although being PhD student, it was hard to be part of many activities but there was few I really liked. And one of them was having a informal small get together of research students every week. There were few formal get togethers were planned by university through out the year

Fees :

NA

Scholarship :

Yes, I got Vice-Chancellor Research Scholarship (VCRS) that paid my tuition fee and an annual stipend of 14000 pound/year.

Faculty :

Faculty and staff was very supportive and friendly. It was pleasure experience working their.

Hostel :

I was living off campus with two other room mates. It costed me around 300 pound/month with electricity. Infrastructure was good and actually room or rent depends on the facility and infrastructure that you want.
