Raunak Pratihar Review at Anglia Ruskin University [ARU], Cambridge | Collegedunia

Definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity and it helped me a lot in my life. I had an amazing time and met some lovely people during these three years. I learnt numerous new things and made memories that I will probably cherish for the rest of my life.

Location was a key factor. I wanted to study in Cambridge because there are a large number of students from all over the world in Cambridge. The diverse environment, along with extremely professional University staff helped allowed me to have the best possible university life for the past three years.

Course Curriculum :

The course syllabus was completely updated and upto the mark. We were provided with various opportunities for learning and researching. This included both practical and theoretical lessons which helped me in getting a better understanding of the law.

Exams :

I didn’t have to take the IELTS exam. I had an interview with someone from the university and that person judged my english speaking skills and some other things before approving me to be eligible for the course.

Placement :

Probably not the best university in terms of job and placement opportunities.

Events :

Campus life was pretty good. All possible facilities were present, starting from accessible work places for students to recreational zones for taking breaks. The library was really crucial for me because I did not have to buy any of the expensive books. Most of the current books were available in the library for the students to borrow and use.

Scholarship :

I got a scholarship of £2000. It was a general scholarship awarded to some candidates with deserving SoPs.

Faculty :

The faculty and staff were extremely professional and really knew what they were doing. Professors were more than helpful in clearing out any doubts whatsoever. I also received a lot of help and guidance from my professors as to how to efficiently handle the workload and meet deadlines.

Hostel :

I lived on campus in a shared house during my first year and was completely satisfied with my room and the house overall. I met some extremely nice people in that house and had an absolutely lovely time. I moved out of campus after the first year and rented a house privately with some friends that I met during my course.
