Amal Ashok Review at University Of Glasgow [GLA], Glasgow | Collegedunia

University of Glasgow, review after a semester

University of Glasgow is one of the oldest universities in the UK and the department of Computing Science is also a reputed one. There is a very good research history for the University and a strong alumini network

Course Curriculum :

The course is well structured and fast paced. You have to really work hard to achieve good grades and a first class degree.

Exams :

Requirements: IELTS (6.5 min and 7 overall) , min 75% in last degree (depends on the course). My Score: IELTS : 7.5

Placement :

There are plenty of opportunities available in computing science and IT industry . There are no campus placements in any universities abroad. You have to find the jobs and apply for them.

Internship :

No.

Fees :

24500 £ (changes every year)

Scholarship :

No

Faculty :

The Faculty are very experienced and working on new researches. They are always there to help you in whatever you need.

Campus Life :

The campus is amazing. The old building gives you all the Hogwarts vibes. Along with that, there are the best and modern infrastructure available on campus with free wifi throughout and cafes in all the buildings.

Hostel :

I am staying in a private student Accomodation . It's a 6 people sharing flat with ensuite bathrooms for each room , a common kitchen with all the facilities and a living area with a TV and wifi 24x7. The cost is 99£ per week including all the bills.
