The admission process was fairly simple and I was required to submit all of my mark sheets and other professional documents along with a statement of purpose for applying and pursuing the program as well as two recommendation letters from people who have either supervised me or taught me. I also had to provide an IELTS score which was just to check my reception and study readiness in the English language, a band of 7 and above is an acceptable score. I received an offer letter along with a departmental scholarship and the whole process took 2 - to 3 months from end to end. Chopras consulting helped me with the admission process and they were very helpful and guided me through the entire process.

Course Curriculum

The program was divided into three terms. The first two terms had 6 modules, with 2 electives in the second term. These two terms helped build a strong foundation and understanding of all of the marketing core ideas and each class had a 40/60 split of theory and hands-on projects consecutively. The third term was a dissertation term and we had the opportunity to choose between company project and research work. I had a great learning experience and the faculty was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and the entire program was very collaborative and interactive.

Placement

7

The University does not guarantee any job placements, however, a lot of support was provided for creating job profiles and a lot of companies visited our campus where we were able to introduce ourselves and explore opportunities within those companies. Multiple job fairs were organised and individuals from within the company were invited to talk about their roles and the company. I also received a lot of help from the placement office with my resume building and interviewing process.

Fees

I was offered a departmental scholarship which reduced the fee and I found the program to be quite affordable. My parents supported me with the finances. Apart from the admission fee, the living expenses need to be considered too and at the time of Visa approval proof of finances needs to be provided too.

Scholarship

I received 25% scholarship a which was a departmental scholarship provided by the Marketing department itself. I had not applied for a scholarship at the time of application but I was awarded one based on merit and my application.

Campus Life

Even though the master's program is tightly packed I still had a lot of opportunities to participate and enjoy my campus life. There were a lot of clubs to choose from and each club had their own set of activities and social events organised to ensure that we can connect with our kind. Apart from the clubs, the community organised a lot of events as well to socialize and meet with other students.

Hostel

Since the university has campus accommodation, I opted for accommodation within the campus itself. I was given three options to choose from for the accommodation type, each had a different setting and monthly rental. I stayed in the postgrad college where most of my peers from my course and other post-grad courses resided.
