I liked it's close proximity to my home town and have always enjoyed going to Brighton. The university has a good reputation and good job prospects also and seemed like the ideal fit for me at the time.
Course Curriculum :
It's been difficult but easier than I first anticipated. I enjoy the material usually. Even though I expected a lot of maths I did not expect it to be this difficult. There are good option modules for year 3, which is another reason i chose this university.
Fees :
The fee structure is 9250 a year and I am currently on a 3-year course. I opt for a placement that will cost an additional 2000.
Examination Structure :
Exam structure follows the courses well. Tend to get my expected results. However a couple exams have come back with poor marks and I am unable to get any feedback from them which can be very frustrating.
Faculty :
Very mixed opinions. I have had some great lecturers but also some very lazy ones that refuse to respond to me. My acedemic advisor has ignored all my emails for the past year, making it really difficult to track my progress and understand where i need to go from here.
