Depth of a specialized undergraduate degree; breadth of a US Liberal Arts degree - MMORSE allowed me to delve into pure Mathematics, Statistics, Operational Research, and Economics in my 1st two years. In my final two years, I doubled down on Statistics!
Course Curriculum
Statistics tend to keep up the pace with the industry so I was close to the 'cutting edge' - especially on the final year dissertation. The 1st and 2nd-year curriculum seemed very outdated though.
Exams
I had to submit a 2x LoRs, 1x CV, and 1 SoP. In my SoP, I highlighted my interest in insurance & the mathematics that underpins the industry; I also went so far as to mention my desire to become a qualified Actuary. For the UK, I would recommend thinking through your UCAS choices since you have a single SoP that goes out to ~ x15 universities (I was okay being specific since it was a single one!) None!

Events
Not sure about the nightclubs but the exercise facilities are on point now! The newly constructed exercise center and gym are world-class WiFi on campus is bliss (~100Mbps); the library gets very crowded around exam season but is empty for the rest of the year!

Faculty
The faculty ratio is 1:30; all were very approachable in my experience; Dr. Murray Pollock - Turing Fellow, Dr. Richard Crossman - both are very accomplished academics but spent incredible amounts of time with students.
Hostel
On-campus infrastructure is incredible, you need to move off campus from your 2nd year onwards so the quality depends greatly on how much you end up paying in Coventry or Leamington.
