As a Physiotherapist, students can help people affected by illness, injury or disability through movement and exercise, manual therapy, education, and advice. Students will take a ‘whole person approach to healthfully involving patients in their own care through education, awareness, and empowerment.
The course is accredited by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and is being reviewed for approval by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). On completion of the course students will be eligible to apply to the CSP and HCPC to practice as a registered physiotherapist.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students will have completed an honours degree in the last five years, achieving 2:1 or 1st class award or be predicted to achieve this grade. Students' previous degrees should be in biological sciences, sports science/therapy, or a healthcare course with significant anatomy and physiology components.
Students will need to hold GCSE or equivalent in English Language and Mathematics C grade or above (grades 4-9), or equivalent numeracy and literacy qualification.
Demonstrate and discuss work experience in physiotherapy, ideally within the NHS or hospital setting.

Indian Eligibility:

EU and international students need IELTS or equivalent.
Successful completion of a 3 or 4-year bachelor's degree with a minimum of 55-60% from a reputable university.
