- The degree's focus on practical (as well as theoretical) teaching means students can develop the analytical and critical skills essential for formulating legal arguments. Students will also have the opportunity to study a range of specialist subjects that are relevant to their own aspirations.
- With a wide range of option modules - including work-based learning placements - and a diverse variety of assessment methods, such as simulated negotiation exercises and delivering presentations, students will learn through experiencing the law, not just through exams.
- Previous students have undertaken placements in the local and wider London area, in private and sole practitioner solicitor firms, barristers' chambers, charities, and the Youth Justice Board.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
- Higher Secondary School Certificates, All India Senior School Certificate Examination (SSC) and Indian School Certificate (ISC) are acceptable for direct entry to undergraduate programmes. The grade requirement will depend on the exam board in India and the subject students are planning to study at St Mary's.
- Normally the overall aggregate will be at least 60-65% depending on the exam board. Second year entry is possible for some degrees if students have completed year one of a relevant degree in India and any application would be assessed on a case by case basis.
