Bachelor of Science [B.S] [Cyber Security] From Robert Gordon University

Academic Eligibility:

Students must have the following requirements:

• SQA Higher: BBBC and two further pass to include English and Maths at National 5 grade C or above if not held at Higher.
• SQA Advanced Higher Year 2 entry: BB to include Computing and another numerate subject and two further passes to include English and Maths at National 5 grade C or above if not held at Higher.
• GCE A Level Year 1 entry: BCC and two further passes to include English and Maths at GCSE grade 5/C if not held at A-Level.
• GCE A Level Year 2 entry: ABB/BBB to include Maths and another numerate subject. English at GCSE grade 5/C is required if not held at A-Level.
• Irish Leaving Certificate Higher: H2H3H3H3 and two further passes to include English and Maths at grade O3 or above if not held at Higher.
• IB Diploma Year 1 entry: 27 to include a pass in Standard Level English and Maths at grade 4 or above if not held at Higher Level. 
• IB Diploma Year 2 entry: 32/30 to include Maths and another numerate subject at the higher level pass. Standard Level English at grade 4 or above if not held at Higher Level. 

Indian Students Eligibility:

• Students must have passed 12^th grade from a recognized institution.
• Students must have Grade C or better in English and Maths.
• A post-high school qualification (i.e. a higher national diploma, an associate degree) can be considered for advanced entry to undergraduate courses. Applications will be considered on a case by case basis

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.

The course prepares students for a career as a Cyber Security Specialist. There is a large and growing demand for graduates who have the ability to secure computing networks and protect the critical information systems of businesses and government organizations. As a graduate of the course, students could find employment in a variety of areas from the financial sector, commercial or industrial companies to the national security services. Possible employment opportunities include IT Security Engineer, Information and Data Security Analyst, Network Manager, IT Security Developer, IT Risk and Fraud Specialist and E-business Security Analyst, Digital Forensics Expert.
