The Digital Technologies and Public PolicyÊMPA degree fromÊUniversity College London (UCL)Êprovides insights on the impact of new and emerging technologies on issues such as social structures, the global economy, international policy, security, human rights and shared prosperity.
This exciting new multi-disciplinary program is the first of its kind and we will accept our inaugural cohort of students for a start in September 2018. We have designed an innovative and flexible programme to ensure that our graduates can step into a range of professional roles where they are required toÊdevelop strategies, policies and guidelines and collaborate across public and private sectors working with digital technology.
This program is linked to theÊDigital Policy LaboratoryÊin STEaPP and draws on the expertise of this dynamic and diverse group of world-leading researchers.
Our MPA in Digital Technologies and Policy blends coverage of core policy tools, regulation and analysis methods with a specialist focus on how innovations in science and technology can help policy makers toÊnavigate the challenges and opportunities of our rapidly changing world.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicants should hold a degree in environmental chemistry, chemical engineering, microbiology, biochemistry with a 2:1 standard from a recognized university
- Students with a 2:2 standard degree in chemistry, applied chemistry or indsutrial chemistry
- A degree certificate showing your qualifications
- Official transcripts of all the subjects that you have studied and marks achieved
- CV
- A personal statement
English Language Requirements:
- IELTS: minimum 6.5 overall with listening-5.5; reading- 6.0; speaking- 5.5; writing- 6.0
- TOEFL iBT: minimum 90 overall with listening: 17; Reading: 21; Speaking: 20; Writing: 21
- PTE Academic: minimum 62 overall with Listening: 59; Reading: 59; Speaking:59; Writing: 59
Indian Student Specific Requirement:
- A score of 60-80% from a well ranked public institution which is comparable to UK 2:1
- A score of 50-70% from a well ranked public institution which is comparable to UK 2:2
