The M.Math in Mathematical and Theoretical Physics at Aberystwyth University is a full-time 4 years program.

Mathematics and Physics have been taught at Aberystwyth since the foundation of the university in 1872, making the university the first in Wales to teach these subjects.
Their Physics courses are accredited by the Institute of Physics (IoP), a leading scientific society that engages with policymakers and the general public to advance physics education, research, and application, giving them a head start when they enter competitive jobs market.

The Department of Mathematics maintained its position as one of the best departments in Wales in the most recent Research Excellence Framework. The department returned almost 90% of their staff, the highest proportion of any Welsh mathematics department.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

A-Levels: AAA-BBB with A in Mathematics and B in Physics.
GCSE requirements (minimum grade C/4): English or Welsh and Mathematics
BTEC National Diploma: DDD-DDM with specified subject and A in A level Mathematics and B in Physics
International Baccalaureate:34-32 points overall with 5 points in Physics and 6 points in Mathematics at Higher Level

Indian Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet the following eligibility criteria:

Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with a minimum of 50-55% or GCPA 6.0 in a relevant field from a recognized institution.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
